Composite Fillings

A filling is a way of restoring a tooth; which may have been damaged by decay or through fracture; back to its original function and shape. After removing the decay, your dentist will fill the tooth with an appropriate material. These include either a composite resin – which matches the colour of the tooth – or a silver amalgam.

The type of material used will depend on how visible the affected tooth is, the size of the filling required, and the cost implications associated. Our dentists will talk you through the recommended treatment every step of the way and will advise you accordingly.
